Upon your arrival at Udaipur Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative who will be there at the arrival lounge holding a placard of your name. After meeting him, board the exclusive vehicle to start your drive for Jawai Bera Reserve 140 Kms / approx 03 hrs drive. Upon arrival at Jawai, check-in to your pre-booked wildlife resort. After lunch, enjoy your afternoon jeep safari in search of leopards. Enjoy your evening at the resort. Dinner & overnight stay at the wildlife resort.
Jawai Conservation Reserve was established in the year 2013. This project was proposed to promote ecotourism and safeguard the wellbeing of flora & fauna in this area. A healthy population of 50+ leopards can be found in Jawai Region. It is one of the few places on earth where among human settlements leopards thrive. The area is inhabited by Rabari Tribe. Every day jeeps with trained naturalist head to locate leopards based on the previous day’s movement patterns, tracks and signs to ensure the best possible leopards viewing opportunity.

Jawai Reserve is known as a village of leopards. The caves of Lava Mountains known as Aravalli Range created thousands of years ago, offered natural habitat to leopards. The villagers have made peace with the presence of this ‘ghost of the jungle’ in such a close proximity to their residential area. Although Jawai is open from early September to mid of May, the best time to come here is from October to early April as the weather is less humid while the nights could be chilly. Jawai Bera Reserve – Ranthambore National Park
In the morning, after breakfast, experience a safari ride for Jawai Bandh (the Jawai Dam). Return to the resort for lunch, After lunch, check-out & drive to Ranthambore National park which is at a distance of 450 Kms / approx 08 to 08 ½ hrs drive. Upon arrival at Ranthambore, transfer to your pre-booked wildlife resort. Dinner & overnight stay at the wildlife resort.
Jawai reservoir is home to many species of migratory and residential birds and provides incredible sightings of species like the Sarus Crane, Indian Courser, Osprey, Pelicans, Bar- Headed Geese, Water fowl, pipits, larks, pratincoles, and other raptors to mention just a few. With over a hundred bird species to see and photograph.
